Ordering
Orders can be made through our website, or email milkstirrers@gmail.com.
We also love chatting with you about your order, so feel free to DM us if you’d prefer to place an order via Facebook or Insta.
Bulk orders:
If you are wanting to place a “large” bulk order (100+ stirrers), please contact us directly by emailing milkstirrers@gmail.com to discuss quantities, delivery, time frames etc.
Changes to your order:
Please note that if you wish to change your order in any way (i.e. modify designs, add/reduce qtys etc), we require at least 1 week notice before dispatch. We will accommodate you where we can, but any changes with less that 1 weeks notice before dispatch may incur a $25 'alteration/express' fee.
Payment Options
Credit card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all payment options when ordering through our website.
For orders made by DM or email, we will invoice you and you can pay by bank transfer. Please use your name and invoice number as a reference. Your order will be filled on receipt of payment.
Full payment: Full payment is required at the time of order, including shipping. An order is not confirmed and will not be filled until payment has been made.
Bulk orders: For any bulk orders, such as weddings, party favours, corporate gifts, wholesale orders etc, either full payment at the time of order or a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, with full payment at least 1 week before the required order date.
Refunds: No refunds will be given if you “change your mind”. Deposits paid for any bulk orders are non-refundable.
Afterpay/Layby: Hot Milk Stirrers does not currently offer Afterpay or Layby options.
Shipping/Delivery
On average, standard orders take 1-3 business days to dispatch. Please allow at least 7 business days for specialty, kids stirrers & custom orders before dispatch. If your order is going to be delayed for any reason, we’ll flick you a message and let you know.
Click & Collect: You are more than welcome to CLICK & COLLECT from us in Manukau, Auckland. When your order is ready for collection, we will send you a message with pick up instructions. Please do not turn up until you receive this message.
Shipping: With this being a food item, we use a 'fast delivery' courier.
Targeted Delivery Times
Auckland: 1-2 business days
North Island: 1-3 business Days
South Island: 2-4 business days
Note: Rural areas may take 3-4 extra days
As a general 'rule-of-thumb' we don't tend to send parcels out on Fridays to avoid the stirrers sitting in the depot over the weekend.
Although we’ve never had any problems, and all care is taken in packaging, we cannot take responsibility for “meltage” or “breakage” during shipping.
We thank you for understanding that once your order is with the courier, the delivery is out of our control. In saying that, if there are any problems, we will work closely with you and the courier company to resolve the issue.
Packaging: To help protect the stirrers in transit we box all orders.
Issues with your order
We do our very best to ensure orders are safely and securely packed to protect the integrity of the product on arrival.
If you have any concerns with your order, please contact us and we’ll endeavour to remedy the concern.
Eco-Friendly
We consciously choose to use wooden spoons, cello bags and paper based labels rather than plastic, to ensure our stirrers are eco-friendly and we are limiting any waste to being biodegradable.
Caution Issued:
CAUTION! HOT! Please take care when handling the heated milk for your Hot Milk Stirrer...and when sipping your drink. Children should never be left unattended with their hot beverage.
Please note: 'chunky, tasty bits’, and other edible decorations (eg. sprinkles, icing flowers, etc) can be a choking hazard to small children (and big!). Children under the age of 5 will need active supervision when consuming stirrers.
